Not the greatest game of cricket, but like most T20s, this match also got very tight. Bates almost defended 3 in the final over, but the Supernovas got through off the final delivery.

It was, in any case, a great event for women's cricket. Some of the best cricketers in the world in one place, for two teams always promises great cricket. Even though, the quality wasn't quite at its best, the competition and spirit was.
