Surya: "Don't allow Narine to remove a chunk of the target in the powerplay." --- I don't think they'll have to worry about Narine. There is that fellow called Lynn though....

Thanks, Vishal. RCB have at least 15 more than par at this ground. I wonder if the effects of rain will allow their spinners to flourish...

6.15pm Those runs in the last over itself have given RCB something to defend. It's been a tricky Chinnaswamy pitch and a below-par RCB batting show again, at least from the big three. Gayle, Kohli and AB managed only 15 together. Mandeep, however, kept fighting and even Head gave him company even though it was hard to time the ball. Narine and Chawla had troubled them a bit before quick bowlers started taking the pace off the ball almost all the time, but Head finally struck some lusty blows in the last over and pushed them past 150. At least we have a match on now. Varun Shetty will take you through the chase soon...

Umesh: The ball is holidng a little bit and the ball was coming on nicely after the rain break. I was trying to hit the deck hard to get some extra bounce. After Virat was dropped, I knew he would go for a big shot so I changed the pace. We've had a long season and back-to-back matches, so a little bit tired, yes"

Yadav to Head, FOUR, almost finishes off with a four. It was a really slow delivery, pretty short too, Head swivelled on the back foot, waited for some time and then pulled it away behind square for a four after a couple of bounces
19.5
6
Yadav to Head, SIX, slightly slower, pitched up again and this time it's gone over long off, almost a straight six. Head is connecting really well now and middling all of those. The big swings are working now
19.4
6
Yadav to Head, SIX, don't pitch it up to him on middle or leg, Head has dispatched it really high and so far from the pitch, it nearly hits the roof. He's strong on the leg side and sent it exactly there, over long on
19.3
W
Yadav to Negi, OUT, slow cutter at 121kph, fullish again outside off, Negi swings and sends that really high not far from the pitch, Lynn calls for it and pouches it around short cover

P Negi c Lynn b Yadav 5 (7m 3b 1x4 0x6) SR: 166.66

Yadav to Negi, FOUR, full and wide outside off for Negi, he connects well to find the gap and it's a big, wide gap. Chawla runs to his right from long off but can't even get close to it

1
Yadav to Head, 1 run, full on middle stump, dangerous territory to Head, but he keeps it along the ground and sends that to deep midwicket

W
Woakes to Jadhav, OUT, it's full, wide and quick at 139kph, Jadhav lofts that high and Umesh runs to his left from long off to pouch it. It's been tough to time the ball properly today and Jadhav's eyes properly lit up seeing some pace on he ball, he sent that a bit too high though, giving long off enough time

KM Jadhav c Yadav b Woakes 8 (14m 9b 1x4 0x6) SR: 88.88
