2.24pm: Right, that's all from us here. See you later for the battle of the co-hosts as West Indies take on USA in Barbados!

2.22pm: The victorious captain Aiden Markram has also had his say at the post-match presentation on another nail-biter for the Proteas: "Once again! We've had a few of those this competition! Getting to those last three overs, the odds looked heavily against you. But the bowlers coming back it shows a lot of skill but it also shows the fight inside.

"As a whole, I'd say we're getting closer to that complete game of cricket. We're not there just yet but we're getting there."

[On changing his plans after Baartman's over in the 17th went for 21] It's always a tricky one. you want to see the bowlers's best skills. You want to give him the freedom to bowl his best ball first before changing to conditions. It was a bit nerve-wracking there in those last few overs. The plans were there but the execution was not quite right. It happens.

[On his match-turning catch to remove Harry Brook at the start of the final over] I'm grateful it stuck! Your mind races as a captain and you find yourself drifting in the field - but happy to hold onto it. It certainly made a difference.

2.16pm: England captain Jos Buttler, on where the match was lost: "I'd say in the powerplay, actually. Quinton de Kock came out with a lot of intent, really attacked that powerplay and we couldn't match that. We were quite happy chasing 160 but I thought they bowled well.

"I thought we came back really well with the ball and I thought Brook and Livi had a fantastic partnership there to take us close, and at one point looking like favourites. But it doesn't work like that in T20 cricket, and South Africa closed out well.

"We're still very much in the competition. We've played really well today, just couldn't get over the line."

2.09pm: South Africa retain their unbeaten record at this World Cup. Player of the match is Quinton de Kock for his 65 from 38 up top which was a class apart. And he puts it down to CPL experience, particularly knowing this surface would play different today compared to how it has for the previous matches" "We've seen a couple of night games here (in the World Cup). Some people have made that mistake [assuming it would be similar] - I've played a few CPL games here and it certainly doesn't play the same during the day as it does during the night."

2.03pm:Naresh: "High quality from South Africa apart from that one Baartman over. Great advertisement for international cricket!"

Mohammed: "How is it that all SA games have been pretty close and they didn't choke in any of those?? Good signs for SA."

Amit Dave from : "Not statistically but sentimental this improves the chances of USA"

Nortje to Archer, no run, And South Africa have won it! Fires one through Archer, who swings and misses, though to Quinton de Kock! An excellent finish from Nortje after Baartman had let England back in it with a horrible 17th over. But South Africa kept their nerve - first with the bat, then here at the end with the ball - to secure their second win of the Super Eight stage, moving top of Group 2!

Nortje to Curran, 1 run, Outstanding from Nortje! Wide yorker, just outside off, Curran hits it well but all along the ground to long off

So Curran needs 9 from 2, hitting with the wind in his favour...

Nortje to Curran, no run, Low full toss, worked out to deep midwicket.. and Curran refuses the run!

Nortje to Curran, FOUR, Four to Curran! Awful delivery from Nortje, full and outside leg stump, helped on its way beyond fine leg - up in the circle - and away to the boundary

Nortje to Brook, OUT, Brook goes! And it's a stunning catch from Aidan Markram over his shoulder running back from mid on! Clutch play from the Proteas skipper after Brook inadvertently skies the first ball of the over down the ground. It did not look like a variation, but Brook did not get that as intended.

Here. We. Go. Anrich Nortje with the ball, Harry Brook with the bat. 14 needed from these last six...
